It felt good to be well rested this morning, I think I had a decent 8 or 9 hour sleep ! Which was good because we were heading up on the train to the top of Jungfrau Mountain! Jungfrau is one the highest mountain in the Swiss Alps so it is also know as the top of Europe! We went to the shop in the morning to buy some lunch because we were told that food at the top of Jungfrau can be really expensive. We then met the rest of the group and walked up to the train station.

On the way to the swiss alps we visited  a small town.  In that town e visited a  swiss watch and nife shop. Then off to the elps for another special stop at a contiki sight. ... tour doesn't speak English. After Hibo and I discussed very comfortably in English how loud their tour was and a few other things...I started to sing "the hills are alive with the sound of music"...and this girl from the tour turned to me and said "I love this song, please sing whole song". Lol. I appreciated that she appreciated my singing :)

... I was next up, along with Anna and another guy who was over from India. Sitting in the chopper we slowly rose out of the valley until we could see out over the Swiss alps. Watching them stretch out as far as the eye could see all the way to the horizon. It was breath taking. Now came the adrenaline as the door to the chopper opened and the first two left. ... the road changes everything. Houses seemed older and more brightly painted, the mountains weren’t so high or green, and there was warmth to the air …. and a love for food!

As it was a nice evening we sat down at a small beach and soaked up a few rays before driving around the sweet towns by the lake! The food and family life is big here in Italy; we feel it immediately and are dying to taste real Italian good ...
