Left Dunoon on the 10am car ferry to Greenock after heading down the main street to buy an Innellan history book which I found out I featured in and have a song called "Dream Angus" dedicated by Kenneth McKellar. One day I should listen to the song!

Had our first UK infringment, a 30 pound parking ticket in the main street of Dunoon. I can hear the Dunoon family laughing. You would too if you knew how big ...

We'll Take the High Road...‏

We were up an hour earlier than usual, as Charlie felt a little uncomfortable with the whole freedom camping concept! We had a lovely walk around the banks of the River Dee, where there are a number of hides set up for watching the wildlife, and we saw an osprey nest, where a breeding pair have hatched ...

Even though today was the big day I didn't really feel nervous or excited about the fact I was leaving Baltic Scotland indefinitely, just taking it as if I was just nipping to Edinburgh on the train really. Saying goodbye to mum and dad and the brother at the airport wasn't nearly as emotional as I envisaged it to be, even if mum was a little bit teary as I headed through security. But it was nothing compared to the bunch of kids who were wailing inconsolably ...

Why Does It Always Rain On Me?

A travel blog entry by teambf on May 08, 2012

Despite our horrid flight coming in at 2.45am on a Tuesday morning, the lovely and ever-generous Fergie has driven to Glasgow to pick us up. It sure is a relief after readying ourselves for a few hours sleep in the airport before the trains start up.

By the time we reach home, it's 4am and the sun is peeking up but we manage to catch ...
