Today was going to be a riding day but due to traffic and the weather we really just travelled. The scenery was beautiful, majestic alps, mountain tunnels, avalanche tunnels which are only one sided, rolling green hills spotted with cows all sporting the latest in cow bells and fields full of wild flowers all in bloom. The first steps in the water were surprising as we could't feel anything, nothing cold in fact. It slowly manifest itself as we started sinking into the river. We quickly arrived near the first drop. Stefan, as professional as pedagogue, belaid us one by one. Everything went smooth.

... Home again, more sitting around (I love that!) with a culinary masterpiece from Roger, Boeuf en Croute (think beef Wellington without the Wellington). Fantastic! Once again it was thrust into my digestive canal with such speed, there was no time for a pic.
Today we vegged out exchanging stories, some of them even true.
The Swiss - I've been learning a lot about them.

It was in the 20s when I left Vienna - here it'll go down to 2 degrees tonight.
