I was lucky enough to be in the Onsen with three delightful Japanese women, one who spoke a little English. We had a lovely chat and they took me to the other two pools available, one outside in the open air, and another up stairs. Just ...

On a lighter note, this is Hagi a town filled with pottery and orange groves. A place to sooth the soul with beauty. Bizarrely there was a gigantic modern building dedicated to ceramics in this quiet little island town. Incredible professional pottery in the museum and shops overflowing with more pots.
