    We started the day with coffee around the pool and then went to the beach. I walked for two hours with Steve looking for sharks teeth whilst Maggie and Norma after a shorter walk spent time chatting in the sea to cool off.     ... like everyone else chatting. We returned home to get ready to go for lunch at Norma's friend Marilyn's home. It was lovely to see how the Americans live and taste their homemade food.     There are various homes and communities on the island that offer beachfront, bay front, or lagoon front condos and what we loved was that all the homes are different. No cookie cutter development here. From anywhere on the island, you are never more than a short walk to the beach or the intra-coastal waterway.

    If you are looking for night life and crowed beaches, this is not the place.
