I love how people keep giving you directions and saying you can't miss it. Of course we can and of course we do. But we did find the Merry Maiden's Stone circle after only one stop for directions. Cornwall is full of standing stones and stone circles- so much history. And we were the only ones there as the stones were just in someone's field. …

... Sustrans ranger , keeping an eye on the routes in his area. The hill out of Seaton went steeply up, but still rideable, then down into Beer, where the hill to Branscombe was huge and the 1in3 drop into the village and 1in3 up again even steeper. I'll keep saying this until I go blue, but there is nothing quite like the beauty on our own doorstep.

Today I went with my auntie down to a little place called Seaton. I can't say its forgotten because the local know its there. Seems like everyone else is more intent on Looe or Newquay, so I'll go with it's semi-forgotten.
