Today was devoted to seeing the Biltmore Estate. We started off with problems. I got the GPS by going to the directions on the Biltmore website, but they were incorrect and led us to a back entrance. It turns out that one does not want to go to the Biltmore House, but instead to the entrance for the tours. ... side of every highway, it seems like most trees and plants have been surrounded. I tried to get some photos, but my camera does not like to take pictures while we are moving so fast, but I have posted two. In one of them, you can see how the vine has completely covered a tree. Unfortunately, these photos do not really show the vastness of the problem.

pictures of this waterfall, I was not expecting to be too impressed. Boy, was I wrong. Perhaps it was the very wet summer and recent
rains or maybe pictures just don’t do it justice. Either way, this was an amazing

cliff with a freefall of near 100 feet.
