... that we had purchased for ourselves and the bikes were only for ourselves. 70 kroner later, the conductor was happy and left us in peace. The other 6 bikes and their riders exited at the next station so I was able to set the bikes up again facing the doors for a speedy exit. ... pretty cool- the train drove onto a ferry and we sailed for 45 minutes from Denmark to Germany! It was funny hopping out of the train onto the boat deck, and we sat up top with our trusty thermos and cheese and Vegemite rolls until it was time to board again.

And so the trip went on, with a break of a couple of hours in Berlin where we sat in the brilliant sunshine in the square and watched the passing parade ...

Highlights were seeing the extraordinary huge hippos, the pink flamingos doing their group dance and the 3 polar bears were mesmerising as they swam, played and fought.
Can’t forget the group of about 10 giraffes with a baby and the entertaining apes, also the

... enjoy the Prague castle which was beautifully lit thanks to the Rolling Stones. After all that walking we returned to old town to enjoy a night cap. Ryan enjoyed a beer and I a glass of red wine which was slammed down on our table by our server. Apparently, quite common for servers in Czech Republic. ... shot in Sarajevo in 1914 which started the First World War. The lovely thing about the castle was that instead of the children being looked after in a nursery away from their parents as was normal in 1900, their bed rooms and play room were next door to their parents.
