... a couple dancing. We decided to take a break for a couple of hours, so headed back to the hotel. After the break, we walked back across the river to go up Petrin Hill, which is a very nice park. It was very nice, lots of trees, and not many tourists, just a bunch of Czechs enjoying a Sunday afternoon. The view from the hill is great and was a great break from the city. ... poor citizens did to be tortured with those gruesome tools, but it must have been bad. There was a chair that was all spikes. There was this chain contraption that lowered the victim into a deep well. Ugh! We walked down to the Charles Bridge. We saw artisans, tourists, hawkers and it was all marvelous. ... and sausage soup served in a mini bread loaf. It was really lovely.
Plus beer then coffee. And we were sat just off the main drag listening to a trad jazz band. Happy times.

Afterwards we very slowly strolled back over Charles Bridge towards home, just drinking in the atmosphere and feeling great.
Getting a bit cooler, so a bit of a rest, change and off out again soon. I blog, Mark softly ...

... amp; a Tesco's like a big wollies. Wandering around John found an isle of heaven in bottles rows & rows of all different beers.... Decisions, decisions he had to make with 3 to start trial. Bubbly for me, cheeses baggets, fruit in hand we set off for home, stopping at a Maccas for a coffee... Yes they too have Maccas they are everywhere.
