Today we headed off at 8am in the car as we were going to Cortona first which is about an hour from Siena. We arrived early which was really nice as the town was still awakening, things start later here, so we had a coffee and enjoyed ...

We chucked on the meat and 20 minutes later were tucking in. The steak was wonderful (cooked to perfection!) and enjoyed by all. Bronte got to chew on the bone and much to my disappointment, she proved to be very efficient, leaving not a shred of meat for me to nibble on. 23 August Moving day. After breakfast, we packed up ...

Today we drove around Lake Trasimeno, a 128km round journey. It’s Italy’s fourth largest lake but is only 6m deep. It’s a strange colour; ...
