... and had wine overlooking the Grand Canal watching all of the Gondolas, Vaporetto's and water taxis pass by. We went to see the Doge Palace and the Bridge of Sighs.
We walked for hours and headed back to the hotel where we could hear the water lapping against the hotel below our window every time a boat went past.

... and we just walked around the campo, got some pizza, and talked a bit to a lady from New Jersey. Well, sadly, Italy lost, total bummer, and the crowds dispersed. Karl and mark went to get their pizza, Kurt and I went back toward the apartment to campo san Barnaba for gelato. ... didn't sing to is but he did have fun facts for us. Supper was pretty close to the city centre which was basically where our gondola ride started and ended. After supper we had about 30 minutes to looks around the city square. We found a really cute shop and the owner asked us about where we were from and what languages we spoke.
