... I know, it is 8pm & decided to head out for dinner. I wanted to try a restaurant that Anna recommended. When I got there, the outside dining was full, so I had to dine inside. I sat next to a couple from New York & asked the gentleman what he was eating because it looked delicious. Day 40 - Murano Island Venice

... night. We went to a little bakery to get a snack and the owner gave me a free cookie! We then explored the small island of Murano which is known for its beautiful glassware. We bought a couple of things and then went back to the hotel to get ready for dinner. For dinner we went to a gorgeous little restaurant on the waterfront for a delicious alacarte seafood dinner. After a wonderful meal we walked back to the hotel.

... they had our luggage in Venice and could not understand why it was there....when it should be in Florence....OMG....
So after much panic we decided to try to pick it up tomorrow am since the offices were closed until 10 am the next day....maybe we will finally get it!

It poured the first night, but has been super sunny the rest of our stay! We took public transit going onto the main island of Venice and walked around during the day while waiting for our evening walking tour. We took the water bus to Lido and chilled out by the free beach.
