A big day spent exploring Venice and particularly San Marco Square. As it was Monday the crowds at the square were much smaller as compared to yesterday's mayhem. We still queued for 25 minutes to gain access to the Basilica, but the wait was worth the effort. This was a very holy place. It's just uncanny how Cory and I always seem to match our travel days to those that are rainy and uninviting.
