    ... bought a ticket for the mine tour and a ride on the talking tram. The mine tour started at 9:30 with a short talk about the history of gold in Bendigo and then we headed down the mine to level 2, 68 metres underground after we had been issued hard hats and miners lamps. A new cage elevator has been built for this mine tour and it is large enough to hold 20 people so it was quite an easy ride down.     ... today, lots to pack, prepare and do - and of course, saying goodbye to Manna Gum Drive!!
