... South Gisborne we crested a hill and saw Melbourne in the distance for the first time in a long time. It was a happy yet sad feeling. At 4:00 we got to the elevated road section of CitiLink and the traffic stopped! We couldn't believe how heavy the traffic was and it was a rude welcome back to home. Today we were still at Jimmy and Lauren's house. We had a relaxing day which was really nice.First we collected some really special stones with Sammi. Then we caught up on some diary writing. ... not bad seeing as it was only an hour and a bits drive. Graeme was waiting out the front for us (I think he thought we'd got lost). The weather wasn't too good this day and after the rain had stopped it was a bit dusty!
