Then we walked to our favourite gelati shop at the other end of town and had our fix of icecream. Geoff and I tried a new flavour, Sale de Cervia, basically like a salted chocolate caramel.....seriously good!! Then we headed home and spent the afternoon packing, reading and getting some school work done. We had dinner at ...

... which raised the heart rate and made the walk worthwhile. I went into the village and bought milk and bread for coffee and lunch and headed back to the boys. They were all at the pool and we spent the next two hours basking in the sun....it was hot but not too hot and the sun felt amazing on our skin. We had a healthy lunch of salad, tomatoes, cheese and ham before setting off for Verona. The drive was simple and took about an hour door to door and ...
