Amazingly enough, we were able to wake Alex and Cameron up at 7:45, which considering that they stayed up to 11 watching a Star Wars movie, is all the more incredible. As soon as the two of them woke up, they fell right back into playing together, as if they had known themselves their entire lives.

The camp did not go as planned last night so we turn around and stayed in Hickman. Got up at 4:00 for our Journey to Jersey Adventure to begin. Had a nice swim in Lake Michigan near Chicago, huge lake can’t see the other side, there were large sand dunes and a small wave. Apparently a hippie in a combi does surf tours on the lake, but it just didn’t feel like the sea. Hils and I had several theories why not.
