... grateful. I love my house, my dog, my car. It's good to be back.
It also makes me think about how long I'd need when revisiting a place - I'd say a full week in Argentina is fine. Two weeks and we could go to another city (Mendoza).
A week was short for Santiago/Valpo. Three days was enough for Valpo but Santiago deserves some more.

I got in a lot later than I expected--almost 7:30pm. Luckily there was a Perkins like right next to the hotel so I ran over to get a salad. Meh. I had hoped that I could catch Expedition Unknown on the Travel Channel but no luck there. I fell asleep a little after 9.

... and has 17,000 animals. I had a ton of fun today and my favorite exhibit was the monkeys where I watched them talk and argue with each other. When we got home for dinner we barbecued Omaha steaks and had chocolate cake for desert which I requested and my aunt made happen. I have been spoiled in Omaha so far. ...
What a great evening of campaigning and fun at Red Savoy Pizza, 168th and Maple.
The place was decorated and packed with people. The pizza and politics were hot. We enjoyed a meal and watched the Creighton Bluejays bombard their basketball foe, Villanova.
