... that when buying souvenirs and lunch - things could be pricey here. We took a small walking tour around the city, the highlight being Lucerne's cover walking bridge. Surrounded by the charm of the city, decorated with bright, colorful flowers, and framed with swans, it was a lovely walk over the river for everyone. After a little free time, it was time to climb Mt. Pilatus. Frau sat this one out, as last time she had a little difficulty with the gondola ride and heights. ...

... Swiss musicians. There was also a famous blind Japanese pianist in the audience (being followed all night by a camera crew) who was brought up on stage at one point and played some music, which appeared to be similar to what had been played earlier in the night. We presumed he was playing by ear, but enhancing the piece with more layers of notes. Our dessert was strawberry and vanilla ice cream moulded into a Swiss flag, accompanied by whipped cream, meringue and applesauce. ...

Left the Stellplätz in Willisau and headed for Lucerne. After battling our way through the town of Lucerne, we found some parking right by the lake, about 45 minutes walk from the centre of town.
