... to walk for as long as she did! And both Avaia and Talia ran from experience to experience making it a challenge for us to keep up.

This was a day to remember. A highlight FOR SURE, and……while under one of Muggestutz's pine trees waaaaay up in the alps, he sent me a message that he intends to come and visit his cousins in the Rocky Mountains sometime soon….

... I would have liked to have said that when Pete and I crossed the bridge I could feel its age. But alas it's not that old anymore! It is still a site to see though. The main center of Luzern is all pedestrian and is FULL of high-end shops. Thank the gods today was a "national" holiday (that only Luzern observes) and 99% of the stores were closed. ... explosives so if they are attacked they can blow up all the bridges and tunnels and they will be cut off with no access to the country. Also, they have secret buildings/ hospitals built into the mountains to be used if ever under attack. We found a nice place for dinner with our new Kiwi friends that wasn't too expensive; an English pub along the river. The Mongol Rally is a charitable self-driving tour from London to Ulan Bator. Depending on the route taken, the distance is between 10'000 and 13'000 km. At the end of the tour the cars belong to the organizers who auction them off. The money raised will then be donated to a project as chosen by the drivers of each car. So far the cold facts.
