      The great thing about our weird, space age hotel was the great buffet breakfast. Having not eaten much at the horrible restaurant the night before we were starving!       ... of that I booked our return flight with no check in luggage by accident. Luckily I added it on later on at a rate that was cheaper the booking it normally with check in luggage. Happy ending :D at the expense of a minor argument. Lol For dinner we went to the local pizzeria. We ordered a magaritta pizza and a pizza with olives, sausage, mozzarella and mushrooms.       ... fascinate me), but I had a sleeping place to be looking for further along the coast.

      First stop was Santa Margherita. The plan had been to walk along to Portofino and look for somewhere there but as I started walking along the coastal road it became clear that I wasn't going to find anywhere suitable in among the mansions on the hillside.       ... into the harbour.

      The people here are simple and fit form what I could tell. They all were used to walking the hills by the looks of it. Apparently the wine growing had taken on a hobby quality now, but the people still enjoyed the exercise. The pruning of the olive trees at the higher altitudes had just taken place, perhaps indicating that February is the month for pruning after all-at least in Italy.
