We woke to lots of rain again in the morning but we now understood that this meant more snow, so we were keen to get back the mountains. The plan for the day was to visit First and walk to a lake from there. We headed to Migros again for our daily lunch requirements of a baguette and cheese for lunch then drove to Grindelwald. The day head cleared beautifully again, revealing even more snow covered mountain peaks as we drove again towards Lauterbrunnen before turning off to Grindelwald. ...

This was a mellow day. Everyone slept until they felt like getting up which was the exact same moment for the kids. It was weird and kind of funny because their narrow doors are right next to each other so when they opened them at literally the same moment and came out, they practically ran into each other.
