    ... a small gondola up to Mannlichen.

    Quite a nice ride over fields and forest and walking trails. As usual on any cable car trip we all played "spot the marmot" and were rewarded with several sightings. They're industrious little diggers - though we'd all prefer it if they didn't undermine the concrete support bases of the cable car towers!

    Guten morgan! It's an early start for our journey to the Swiss Alps. We head off at 6:20am and pull our suitcases through the snow to the Adliswil station for the first of four trains, getting us into Grindelwald about 10am. Hannah has made us a packed lunch (so nice) and we grab croissants and coffee for breakfast at Zurich HB and then proceed to be overwhelmed by how efficient, clean and just downright awesome the Swiss trains are.     • Slept in a bit, great brecky around 0830- scram eggs, bacon, fruit/yogurt then a croissant all washed down with juice and huge pot of coffee with jug hot milk.
    • 266F for tickets to Jungfrau, worth every cent.
    • Missed the 0947 train by seconds so inquired about a hiking map but most trails still closed as too much snow up high.

    ... train. Then a different CM kicked us outta first class since we bought a second class ticket. Come on. No one was even sitting in first class! However, the scenery was (again) incredible. Its interesting how they just cut along the hills and mountains to make paths for trains and cars.
