    Well - it's 7am and shortly everyone will be waking up and getting ready to head over to Derbyshire. The celebration party for Mum and Dad's 50th is happening today near Matlock starting at 12.30 and we are expecting nearly 40 people - all close family.     ... bus pick up, having only bought a few things. We did meet some nice people, and I am sure we will be back now we have an understanding of how things work.     Not much to write about today. We travelled from London to Lincoln via two trains. Great experience and a good warm up to our trip to Paris and the rest of our train legs to Amsterdam. We decided to walk the 0.8 miles from the Lincoln station to The Old Palace. Mr Google suggested the way........just forgot to advise the incline.
