... as I crossed the bridge there was a beggar guy trying to get the locks off the railings that people have taken to putting on bridges to signify their love. At first I though I should beat him about the head with my iPad but instead I stopped and took the lock off of my rucksack and gave him it. I never got robbed so I guess my good turn was repaid and it made me feel good anyway.

Living in a dorm with no common room really takes a toll on the development of a social life. I decided that I needed to go out and make some friends so I attended the Zoology quiz and bar crawl.
