... amazing. We walked around the farm a little and found a large dam that was completely frozen over ! we thought about trying to walk on it but we have eating lots and were not confident the ice would hold us all! we then got back in the car and set off for Lincoln,.we quickly saw what led us and others to the town, an amazing cathedral. ... came together a treat. It was one of the most fabulous evenings ever, Alexis was in awe of all her new relatives, Vince rolled out his humour and Abbey and Millie became the best of friends.

Meeting my Uncle Alan, Dad's brother was something I anticipated doing years ago. To finally achieve my goal to meet our British family after my search began in Boston 20 years ago was both rewarding and satisfying.
