        ... as I crossed the bridge there was a beggar guy trying to get the locks off the railings that people have taken to putting on bridges to signify their love. At first I though I should beat him about the head with my iPad but instead I stopped and took the lock off of my rucksack and gave him it. I never got robbed so I guess my good turn was repaid and it made me feel good anyway.

        Living in a dorm with no common room really takes a toll on the development of a social life. I decided that I needed to go out and make some friends so I attended the Zoology quiz and bar crawl. I like animals so I thought I would enjoy spending time with people who also like animals.         ... hundred miles apart. So the new plan is to fly to New York, travel down to Washington via Philadephia, then hop on a flight up to Boston.

Its sister site was also visited before we left - the Galleries of Justice Museum set in the 6 floors of the old courthouse and jail.
