... No luck there either, so we gave up on visiting Valencia and further south we drove.
Xabia
Around 4pm we arrived into Xabia which was a good choice as we all liked the place immediately. The town had 3 parts – a small port, the old town and the beach area. We parked on a quiet street between the port and the old town and went wandering. The port was tiny and mainly had little tug boats and skiffs and there was a little promenade lined ...
6 weeks left here in benidorm before a flying visit back home to see everyone then im off to Thailand, Oz and Fiji for a few months travelling.
Currently loving the 'dorm, its probably the most random and bizzare place to rep and although its a bit quiet at the moment having amazing nights out with the rest of the fantastic team we have here, still time to come and see me!!!
... part in all parts of the process and to taste it after-wards!!! [ The sourdough pasta madre that is used is already 11 years old and comes from a Christian community near Alcoy. Jordy learned to bake amazing organic sourdough bread and can support himself and the project with this. He offered us a part of sourdough to take ...
Alcoy, Valencian Country, Spain and Canary Islands holadiyo... 15 minutes to take pictures by the small river which had very little water in it and a lot of garbage. We got back on the bus and drove to Aleta to see an old church and that was locked soooo we went back to the ship and went to dinner but first I talked on the phone and managed to lose my glasses. Didn't realize it however until after dinner and then ...
Alicante, Valencian Country, Spain and Canary Islands mamafeathers... before reaching the top (cursed our flip-flops) and opted for an easier path that led to the furthest point out to sea. The views were fantastic, and Sophie managed to pet a seagull despite my warnings that it might have the swine flu.

These pictures are from me trying to take a photo of myself writing with my ancient feather pen from the Alicante market and from walking around Alicante on a tour of the the two cathedrals, San Nicolas y Santa Barbara.
The pictures later are from our visit to two little pueblos just outside of Alicante; Guadalest and Altea. In the little town of Guadalest is a beautiful castle ...
... I found some really cool things and the best part is that aside from meeting these terrible gringos, I am loving loving loving Alicante!~! I am more relaxed here and I'm more peaceful. Which is something I'm sure anyone who knows me for more than a day is sure to find cra cra! I am actually happy and not angry all the time and I feel at home and safe...smile...
I even got a really beautiful mother of pearl bracelet and ...
... with: "What nationality are you?" I stared at him blankly and replied "British", I joked, "this is the BRITISH consulate". He then wisely replied "no, no. Many people don´t realise this but Britain actually consists of England, Scottland, and Wales". At this point someone else sitting behind, him who we had previously spoke to, started to silently cry laughing. I replied "yeh, I know but....." He then interupted me and said "no, your not hearing me, the Island ...
Alacante, Valencia, Spain chris_jones01... made more funny when Miguel came down and she realised it was him. Awesome we are actually meeting people again. Once we got everyone together (including a few more recruits bringing the total to 11) we headed toward the town centre to find some decent clubs. Obviously during the two hour walk there many funny things happened including when a hooker tried to pull Alex2's pants down ...
Alacante, Valencia, Spain chris_jones01... fuerte.
