... has undergone a dramatic transformation. The sub-zero temperatures have given way to spring-like warm sunshine and by the time we leave Moscow, the BBC is exclaiming that it’s warmer in Moscow than in Madrid! The grass is turning green and spring bulbs are beginning to push through soil that must have been frozen just a few days earlier.
