Sam and I woke up and had some brekky before going straight back to sleep until it was time to check out. We have had so many nights out in concession lately that we just needed more rest.
We went over to Dona Vera's place to see Alex and Jess's family one last time. Alex and Jess had some stuff to do, so while they were out Sam and I walked to the bus station to get our bus tickets for tonight. We were off to Rio de Janeiro!
... of the gutter. We managed to find a way to control what was playing on the TV's throughout the hotel. A bit of a voyeuristic view for us watching people suddenly being exposed to a ridiculous comedy show being played at a volume that was far beyond regular speaking levels. Again i headed over to Dona Vera's and got a lift to where we were having lunch with everyone. It was a restaurant in a suburb called Nova Lima a fair drive out of town in a mountain setting over looking typical Minas Gerais scenery. The reason for this location?
