Off we dutifully go to Shyurijo Castle and admire its position and its architecture and its shrines and its Japanese rooms complete with paper sliding doors, it's tatami mats and tea room. We are experts now and can tell the guides a thing or two about Japanese Castles! The really strange thing about this castle though is that it is less than 20 years old. After lunch we went up onto the deck as they now had the worlds sexiest man competition. Darelle was a judge. John came 2nd in the competition. The city centre was very crowded now and was starting to get extremely hot, so we decided to walk back to the ship. We arrived back on the ship just after 1.30 and went to the buffet for a light lunch. We then went and sat ...
