Jelenia Góra ('deer mountain') is about couple of hours south from Wroclaw (trains or buses). It is close to the Karkonosze mountain range running along the Polish-Czech border. ... people fought and protected there territory and now its all open.<br><br>Our last day in Czech was a drive towards the Krkonose mountains, we wanted to maybe catch a chair lift and walk some of the peaks in the area but the hot weather had finally turned into massive thunderstorms. That seemed to sum up our outdoor plans since we have been on the road, so we stocked up with Czech beer one last time and took the wet route into Poland, now there was no turning back.

al the former eastern bloc countries make for good travel,, but the one that i return to is the czech republic,, mainly to the north [north bohemia],liberec,harrochov,cesky raj, but a trip or two to moravia is also worth taking,,. during the communist times it was an eye opener, now also as the people wish for the return of those times,they knew where their bread was coming from, and the upgrades fron old skoda to super fast motorcars,, ah they stilll are crazy on the roads

... I could make a wrong first impression. But I am a very sensitive and warm-hearted person. Although both of us have enough of seeing each other for now, I have this impression things have "clicked" in between us. And if there is no "click" in between people, it`s hard to build up a friendship, or even, as my friend would say, a "rough friendship". We didn't manage to get into the local town except for the shopping trip as the priority was for Jenn to get the washing done - it may appear that I am a slave driver, but when the lav breaks down I have my hand in the socket fixing it so don't feel too bad.
