... to the museum inflight near north berwick today. It was 33 degree F and 30mph winds. I got to see the first commercial flight Concorde for British airways. BOAA. It was breathtaking and beautiful. Absolutely the most beautiful aircraft ever made. It is such a da story that he doesn't fly anymore but I'm glad to see that its preserved. I'm on my way ...

... we filed in the rain past a wild churchyard garden with a cluster of scarecrows at one end. Brent deadpanned: "They're from the last pilgrimage."

... tranquil island was the site of a riot. The cairn was constructed from stones from each croft on the island. In 1874 the crofters rioted to protest the big estate owner’s denying the very men who worked the land for them from having any ownership of either the land or the sheep. The riot was successful as it led to the passing of the Crofter’s Act. Yet even today, the locals have to poach their own salmon. Not quite sure how that works.

Curt and I hopped the train into Glasgow today - it definitely lacked any charm - definitely more of a metropolis then Edinburgh but what I loved about Glasgow is that they make it really simple to get around! The subway consist of only 2 routes (the inner and the outer) so just find your stop and pick your Line! There were also an abundance of really well laid out and easy to read maps on signs that point you in the right direction!
