    ... ended up being the hottest we've had so far, about 18 degrees, t-shirt weather. The breeze is cool but nothing like the highlands.....though I must say I fell in love with the highlands and so far my favourite part of Scotland. Dinner at the hotel tonight and an early one....give me a chance to catch up a little on the blog, Still haven't got used to the sun setting so late....... Pretty excited, we're off to Northern Ireland ...

    ... while we waited; one of the joys of motor homing, The ferry ride was about an hour and very smooth. It was lovely sunshine by their time we reached Brodick;the main town on Aaran. Treacle has almost had a nervous breakdown because there were more squirrels than she could chase and she was desperate to follow them up the pine trees, but sadly her legs are not made for that sort of activity.     ... and K having a 'discussion' and again M and I in hysterics in the back again! we decided to tootle onto Stewarton where we stopped at the local pub to ask directions to any! campsite.
    He said there was nothing around and said we could park in his carpark - but - we did better than that - we had a greal meal and spent the night in his 2 bedroom flat - 100 for the 4 of us including a cooked breakfast - Bliss!
