          Unplanned cuteness in Bern

A travel blog entry by chantell87 on Jul 09, 2015

... town with the river. We attempted to catch up on some writing from our hostel as the rain finally started. Sweet relief after all the heat. We could hear people cheering in the streets as the rain came down. While lying in my bed I watched the lightening light up the sky and breathed in the freshness the rain brought, thinking of home and hoping that there is lots of rain to help with all the fires. The next day we rented bikes. It was ...

The houses/buildings are very pretty to look at and there were some lovely gardens and a nice view over the river between the two lakes. There were quite a few tourists in Interlaken though, so it was a lot busier than we were used to from little Murten. We even had time to go to yummy cafe in Interlaken, and got a chocolate cake and some raspberry cheesecake/sponge. They were ...

... have made! I joined up with 2 Cali girls and our guide and we got suited up in our wetsuits, life jackets, helmets and harnesses and trekked our way up to the top of a mountain. There were some parts that we couldn't walk up, so we had to rock climb up! We made our way down the canyon by cliff diving, belaying down, swimming down waterfalls (no barrels) and using the rocks as natural water slides. It was the most ...
