And to cap the day off we ordered pepperoni pizza for dinner tonight, not much in the way of fine dining in Hirtshalls only to find out our pepperoni pizza was covered with mushroom, anyone that knows Angie and I knows that our dietary choices are not always in line BUT the one thing we agree on is our detest of mushrooms, a perfect way to end this day! Thanks again to our bright spot in the day Lars and ...

Thursday was a transit day. We collected the rental car, then took a ferry to Fredeikshavn in Denmark. It only took 3 1/2 hours to get there, then a couple of hours drive to the small village of Klim, just near Fjerritslev. We settled into our nice hotel room, then went for a short drive down to the beach - bit disappointing by Oz standards - lots of pebbles, some sand, flat surf. Had a lovely dinner at the hotel restaurant. The next day, Friday, we set off up the coast to a town ...
