I would prefer breakfast in our room but John likes going to the buffet breakfast and doesn't like the smell of food in our room and the food is usually not very hot. Norway was epic, possibly the best country we’ve visited on the road so far, an amazing balance of incredible views, great walks, easy van touring and, provided you stock up before, not too expensive. When looking at our journey on a map, it still seems like we’ve only scratched the surface, we’ll happily go back for more!

... is true, especially food and drink. That would be about the only downside to this place, but it's not much of one, and I'm really grasping at straws with that. And that's Oslo in three days. Needless to say, I absolutely adored it, and definitely want to come back at some point for a bit longer stay. On Monday morning,we were up bright and early to catch the train to Bergen, which was 7 hours of absolutely spectacular scenery. I'll tell you all about that one next ...

We then walked to the Folk Museum and spent the rest of the day there, leaving just on closing time at 18:00. This is a large collection of old buildings, a lot of farm houses, sheds and storage buildings, plus a Stave church and an open air theatre. There is also a smaller section of small housing from the outskirts of Oslo in the late 1800s, ...
