    ... travel stories - with them just now coming from Brussels and Amsterdam and about to go to Lucerne. They gave us ideas on things to do and we gave them the lowdown on the Mt Pilatus trip. We enjoyed our dinner, watched some English soccer on TV, then headed back to our hotel to find accommodation in Brussels. We are not sure what we are up to tomorrow - this is really just a stopover on our way to Brussels. We will wait and see what tomorrow ...

    ... town and to the other side of the Lake where we found a gorgeous wee (small for Europe standards) church, with an impressively beautiful interior. Took some more pictures (just for you Buddy) then walked along the lake some more.     ... stop. However, I did see some landmarks I remembered.

    Luzerne is a beautiful city - how could it not be in the location it has? We drove into the city centre and found a parking station. It happened to be behind an hotel, so we checked out the tariff. Let's just say, that the breakfast was going to be 47 euros each. Enough said?     ... up the second bell tower which we were told had some of the most amazing views of Lake Zurich. We are so glad we did! We included tons of pics from the aerial view of the bell tower, even though it was a stormy day it was breathtaking. In the very far off distance we were able to see the Swiss Alps and of course the different colors of Lake Zurich itself.     ... and orchards, with a large herd of dairy cattle just beside the house, grazing on the ample supply of deep, lush grass.
