Very nice place, although it is not air-conditioned. Located right on the riverfront overlookig the Rhine. The Rhine tour boat dock is just across the street.

As I write, we are enjoying a refreshment in our Hotel zum Muehle located on the Rhine River. A wonderful setting but not enough good light for pics when we arrived. Tomorrow after breakfast (our standard routine) will work much better. We have ...

The harvest was a few weeks ago so the grapes are gone and the leaves are falling off. Back on board for a special dinner tonight and early tomorrow morning we push off for Cologne - our next and last stop in Germany. We are unfortunately starting to count down before reality sets in and we get back to a more realistic life style following our grand river cruising experience.

          Enjoy the pics!!

... mere one hour cruise. We finished our cruise in Boppard where we did some cuckoo clock shopping and beer stein shopping. I purchased two cuckoo clocks that will be shipped to me. One for my mom and one for myself. I also purchased two beer steins. One for myself and one for my mom which just so happened to be a stein for a dental technician! Finally, we stopped at a local wine shop and sampled some amazing wines. I ended up purchasing one white wine, one ice wine, and a sample pack. ...
