    To top off the day, we climbed back onto our saddles and road to the Coriano Commonwealth Cemetery not far from here. One of the tour guides is a history buff and volunteered to lead us out there. There are over 1,000 commonwealth soldiers buried there as much fighting took place in this area as the Allies pushed north in 1944. There are 400-500 Canadian graves at the cemetery and we were all very moved by the setting ...

    ... and I) have taken these past two days - are less than 50km with minimal climbing and slower speeds.
