          ... and gorgeous smells. Seeing the bus stop across one corner of our walk we realised we were nearly back and in need of that cold beer but, little did we know the lake was not a lake!           We took the car ferry over to Korcula island and drove the few kilometres from the ferry landing to the old town where Hotel Korcula was on the waterfront.
