    ... the gardens were beautiful. We then walked down to Chateau Amboise and met the rest of the group. This is also where Leonardo's grave is. We walked through the chateau first which was beautiful before going to the chapel where his grave is.     ... The chateau is owned by a family who bought it in1908 with the intention of renewing the chateau and its garden. They did an incredible job. We went there yesterday. The garden is arranged in geometric patterns created with little hedges within which they have planted flowers and and vegetables. They have a tunnel of grape vines around the periphery. There are also large water gardens and a maze and a children's garden. It was beautiful. I was impressed by the ...
