A travel blog entry by hils80 on Apr 24, 2015

Up for breakfast chatted to Sami and a German girl. Then went on walking tour at 11. Took bus to la boca and went along caminito street all colourful and houses made of parts of ship. Had touristy tango people where you pay to have photo with them and fake maradona. Was told interesting history in BA. Then went to boca juniors stadium then before knew it tour was over but they had second part where you pay 100 pesos so decided to do that and we got ...

... you've got to wrap your leg around your friends waist it's hard not to laugh. Afterwards we watched the professionals dance whilst having dinner and taking advantage of free wine all night then we went to an old cathedral which was converted to be used as a bar/tango club but the music wasn't very lively so the lack of sleep kicked in and we went home to pass out.
We went on an open top bus the next day to see the whole city, the audio was very dodgy as you could hear the spanish ...

    ... provided as departing and
as arriving, are played at the most noisy times, pulling away and braking, so
even if they were clearly ennunciated, they are difficult to hear.

As it was I was glad I hadn’t paid more – La Plata was just
more of the same but with even fewer old buildings, another big polluted city that
in a few years may even join up to BA – ...
