    ... we can't really afford the time to stay till then (boca vs river plate) where the atmosphere is meant to be just ridiculous, there's a fence probably a good 15 feet high in front of the standing section of the fans but every time boca score the fans climb to the top of the fence and shake it like mad! Non stop chanting and stuff throughout the match as well, it would be an incredible experience but that would mean a total of 2 weeks in Buenos Aires, I'd love to do it ...

    ... there is a stretch of road near the park, there are many stalls selling BBQ burgers and sandwiches with chorizo (sausages). These are more known among the locals who frequent the park for activities. We walked far from the Barbour stretch and saw smoke coming from there, there were like many 10 or more stalls selling the same food and they smell so good.     It turned out our sojourn to Uruguay was well-timed as it meant we were out of the country during the anniversary of the Falklands conflict (or, as we've learned it's sensible to refer to it as, the Malvinas).     ... Getting up in the morning at 7 Mario has a new car for us.Have to pay 2000 pesos for the damage but thanks to Eva Milongueera who suggested to claim through insurance we may have it covered. After breakfast meeting Alejandro..the guy we spent the night talking to before in Salta..told him our car and wallet stories..incredible..think he likes us both a lot..shame we went..
