Mount Maunganui, North Island, New Zealand doviPerjantaihan kai tänään on ja tulipahan taas dösässä istuttua.
Tauranga, North Island, New Zealand miiajussi... to go the IRD office and get my IRD no, which is important while working in NZ. I went to the Chaos café that Sam told me about and it was great, just get some cheap drink and you can surf all day. I posted my picture I took on my facebook and reply some emails. I went to the market, ya you heard it right....the market. Some place I haven't been to for ages. I bought a loft of bread ...
Tauranga, New Zealand traventure83... is the left side. I now empathize with Ashwini why she would turn on the wiper instead of the indicator when she first came from India. I think I have now mastered this enough so that I will screw it up all over when I get back to the US. Rotorua is a happening place this time of the year. The roads around city center were closed and we thought it was only to confound us while finding our way across town. It turned out there was ...
Rotorua, North Island, New Zealand the_pradhans... which is a uniquely NZ invention and there are many examples throughout the country. Zorbing is getting inside a giant plastic ball filled with 10 gallons of water and being pushed down a hill. You're laughing the whole time because you don't know what else to do and it's loads of fun. $30 USD for 10 seconds of fun....that's a business model that should work. Check out the pics and I HIGHLY recommend it. Amanda: Except for a couple of nice 100 year old buildings ...
Rotorua, North Island, New Zealand cheesenut... up to 14,000 once the lambs arrived. Sadly, they weren't the right sort of sheep; they weren't 'Middle Earth' enough so Peter Jackson had the right sort of sheep imported, black nosed.... Peter Jackson was neurotic about security during the preparation/building of the film set and the subsequent filming; some sort of flying veto was introduced by the authorities-and policed. Basically, if anyway was caught flying below X thousand feet ...
Rotorua, North Island, New Zealand hilarya11/1/08 Today was a pretty uneventful day. I woke up around 9:30 and pretty much laid around for most of the morning. I wasn't sore from surfing or anything, I think I just needed a day to relax. In the afternoon, I helped the kids and Andy pick some avocados (the Belcasters have about 40 avo trees on their property). It started to rain while we were picking, it started to rain, but in about 15 minutes we had more than 30 ...
Tauranga, North Island, New Zealand gorkel... was harnassed to a seat. It feels like a roller coaster as you flip over and over all the way to the bottom. The second time I did a wet roll where they throw some water into the zorb and you roll down without being harnassed to anything. You end up just flipping around and getting water splashed all over you. Feels sort of like being in a washing machine. For the last one Shannon and I rolled together in a single zorb with ...
Rotorua, North Island, New Zealand connieyc... in the bag, but I knew that it was not. We went through the prices, but unfortunately I only had my memory to go off as to how much stuff was, so again, it was her word against mine. I gave her Rick's address, and asked her to mail my missing stuff, or I was going to put in a complaint to Visa, which is how I paid for the items. Maybe I still should; I don't know... Beware! http://www.finda.co.nz/business/listing /5wgw/kiwi-magic/
Tauranga, North Island, New Zealand anne531... James Cook’s first exploration in 1769. In the afternoon the main road left the coast at Gisborne and cut across East Cape. I was just in time for afternoon milking, having to stop the car for a while as a large herd of dairy cows ambled along the road around me on their way from a farm paddock further up the road down to the milking sheds.

Once I was alongside the angry and grey waters of the Bay of Plenty at ...
