      ... our speed through the Natural Bridge loop.

      Then the rain became more heavy ... until it actually became biblical. Which is when the hail started. (Really, I am not making this up!). Driving through a few flood plains (with vertical markers at the side of the road where creeks can and do occasionally flood roads -- showing depths of as much as three or four meters, above the road!), we had to laugh.

      ... glad to see the car, although bending down to remove sodden shoes was quiet an achievement.

      In summary we are pleased we did it, it was just as well the young girl talked us into going to the top, if we had gone to bottom of the chain and waited till it stopped raining I don't think we would have had the energy to complete it. I imagine the views would be awesome with no cloud but we are not about to repeat it any time soon.

      ... at coffee, I wouldn't buy land here without paying $1200 for a map of the 100 year flood prone areas. It is after all, dairy country.
