... across the road. Geoff has joined the gym which is also just across the road. A noticeable difference here is the congested roads and living space. Bound to happen when you squeeze such a large population into a small space.

Weather

We think the main “cultural” points of interest seem to be weather and food. I don’t think a day has gone by without a comment about the weather and how we must be missing the summer ...

It is perhaps to be expected that leaving Stoke once and - effectively - for all, has brought it home once again that, actually - this is a pretty big deal! Scousers

... and the bakery where a portly fellow made me a delicious baguette with very fresh ingredients. I've also enjoyed a quick walk in Tatton park which is the real draw-card in this area, a 2000 acre section of the best country England has to offer. It's really something, I'm sure I'll spend quite a bit of time there. The website tells of all the deer and sheep which live there but I've not seen any yet.
