... but this local traditional food of Bern is incredible!! It’s like a Potato bake gone wild! Washed done with fresh ale brewed then and there..what else could any man need. Needless to say, Stefan insisted he would pay for everything and being backpackers we easily gave up that fight. It was an amazing gesture, and cannot wait to repay him when he comes back to Australia when I am there.

... used for storage but they have turned theirs into a little room with a double bed and desk. There is also a little toilet and sink next door which is handy so we dont have to trek downstairs at night :)

Nicole is not around until the tomorrow as she is at a festival. There is another couchsurfer at the flat who has been there since Sunday. The less i say about him the better but he was a very odd person.

... It was raining so heavily again today, We walked to the port under the rain. It was so cold when the rain hit us. Our timing when we reached the port was just nice, we waited less then 5min and the ferry have arrived already. The ferry trip to there is around 20min so we catch some rest on the ferry since the scenery is not that great due to raining and it is very foggy.
