... we sat we could see the square that used to house the courthouse where we got our marriage license typed up on a manual typewriter by a wonderful woman named, Ruby. The old building is closed now but we can vividly remember pacing the small office on the second floor waiting for Ruby to arrive after the judge signed the necessary form. ... just relax on the beach.. Our new motto.. nothing else to do.. Just go to the beach and relax... :)
For the "private" beach that they advertised, it was awfully crowded. I was not a big fan of this beach but it had to do.. :) Well, the beach was nice to swim but not snorkel - not much fish to be seen. I did enjoy taking a walk along the beach though. On each end of the beach, there were rocks to climb so that made the area a little more interesting.
We woke to the sight of the island of St Thomas, and the entry to the harbour is a lovely sight. We had a shore tour booked and grabbed some breakfast early so we could watch the entry to the dock from the deck. St Thomas was owned by the Danish before it was bought by the US and there are remains of defence buildings at the entry to the port.

... for Thanksgiving and the turkey was really good. Fortunately, the kids that joined their parents for dinner were seated with them this time. Also, our tablemates didn’t show again.
After dinner, I was getting tired, so we went to the casino for a little bit. I left after a few hands, and Rob stayed. Back at the room, I put the breakfast order out and set the alarm.
