Whilst waiting we got chatting to a lovely couple from Cambridge, Edwina and Peter who are staying at our hotel too for their 30th wedding anniversary. Todays adventure was always destined to be more sedate than yesterdays little excursion from Venice to Como. These Swiss love their art and in particular Sculptures, there are about 100 pieces in the main park in town as well as all along the foreshore in Lugano. They even managed to get 3 really large and cool sculptures up to the top of the mountain - unbelievable.
As part of the pass for this park, we also ...

Today was a late start which we spent just chilling around the villa - Tony bought a fishing rod and other fishing stuff the day before so wanted to try it out - which we did - and didn't catch anything !! Had booked a table at Cantina Follie which I'd read about so was looking forward to dinner later, so mid afternoon we got out of the sun and got ready for our walk into Menaggio (almost 4km in 32 degree heat) - needless to say we definitely need something cold to ...
