... don't come here at all. We spent the morning meandering through the pretty streets - bought a few trinkets for the grandchildren and returned by Tender to the safety of our air conditioned 'home'! A very lovely town to visit with lots to see and do. Nicaela and Melinda went swimming in fact. We will swim in the pool on board if the whim pushes us ...

We did not go into this museum but kept walking past to the large Florence city square where the white marble copy of the David statue, together with many other statues, were on display. I couldn't help wondering what sort of jelly fish it was and whether we we would be dead in 7 minutes - so a little panicky! Found our way back to town and to a restaurant where they were very nice and gave us ammonia to rub on and a big bag of ...

... the name on our ticket was different than it was on the screen. We were thankful for the long layover as it gave us a good hour to figure it out. We're definitely never afraid to ask questions! We arrived at 5:07 from the second train, and our third one was supposed to leave at that time as well! We literally ran through the train station trying to find the right gate. Luckily, it was delayed by 15 minutes, so we had time to buy a bottle of water and catch ...
