That we would physically bump up against the edge of the universe if we went just a few million miles out. That distant stars don’t really exist, but are just an elaborate construction, a visual ruse created by the machinery that generates the experiences we all have. Like perhaps the Matrix in some ways. ... saw an African love bird and a gorgeous Macaw who very politely said "hello". And then there was Dodo and Rikki... Dodo deserves his own post. Rikki, not Rick's namesake, was a rescue from a breeder who never socialized him or anything. So, he has been a slow one to trust - it has been six years and he still is wary. He did take to me and I was touched by this as he licked and poked at my arm. He was quite fascinated with my watch too.
