      Trento is a surprise package. A city of approx 120 000 based on education and finance this city is located on the river Adige, a major trading route with Europe in earlier time, and completely surrounded by snow covered mountains. Spectacular.

      28.10.14 Left Vaile Di Caises this morning under a very heavy frost. Thought we would outsmart Bruce the navigator and avoid the Autostrada. It did work and he took us into the Dolomites over Cortina above the tree line with great views which you will see. He also scared the willies out of us with windy steep roads the kind of switch backs you see in the Tour De France.       ... then headed over to the museum. We had been told it was great for kids and they loved it. It had a mini scitech section, a section on mountain animals, dinosaur and whale bones, plus more.
