... traditions here that I have not seen so far. Drinking rituals and showing respect for the oldest person when you sit in a group for example. Also paying in a restaurant is by default only for yourself. If you want to get the bill for the table as a whole, you would have to ask for it beforehand. Today marks the first day of a 5-day holiday for Chuseok (or as we foreigners sometimes call it: "Two-Sock"). It's the Korean Thanksgiving and the most important holiday in the Korean calendar.
