Today we decided to just dive off the shore line in front of the condo with Denny. This was the first time Denny had dove in awhile so he went in first to check his buoyancy while Tom and I finished getting ready, since I ended up grabbing an empty tank and had to get a new one. As I headed into the water all the sudden Denny's second regulator starts leaking a lot of air and had to end his dive before it started. My host is Roderick,
a 35 years old dutch guy who came to live on the island some 8 months ago.
His car is a jeep in a very questionable condition ; e.g. my door
only opens from outside the car. He seems friendly and realaxed (How else can you be on this island I ask myself now ;). Good.
We get to his house in about 5 mins. I get a room for myself and a
key of the house. Great ! The place is a bit dirty, it looks like ...
What happened to my lucky travelling? Flight from Jamaica was delayed, so thought I might miss my connection from Curacao to Bonaire, but this was not the problem, that second flight got delayed too, then cancelled, had to take the next one in three hours. After a 15 minutes flight I finally landed on Bonaire, the first country on this trip where I didn't have to fill out any migration form.

It was good to see the coast of Bonaire and to get into some sheltered waters, although it was only the sea state that calmed the wind over the low lying island was still pumping.

We also took the opportunity to fly to Sydney for the Sydney Boat Show which is always interesting.
Enough of medical stuff and Australia; back in Bonaire (ABC Islands just above Venezuela).
