The Shimano Kaido is a famous bike ride in Japan crossing ten Geiyo Islands and nine bridges which accumulate to be the world's longest series of suspension bridges including one of the worlds longest cable bridges, the Tatara, 1480m long. Bikes have a triangular stand flicking back off the rear hub and a permanent circular lock on the rear seat stays which would deter an opportunistic peddler but little else.
