    ... bliss; a huge downhill stretch with no pedalling for ages. It was soooo good! There was a rose garden not far off the main track so we went there. Dave and Ben got their girlie on and we all were amazed by the range and colour of all the roses. It was a lovely garden and they were all in bloom.     ... It is quite small so you can walk around it easily. It has lots of hills in the middle so you can go down all kinds of trails. We set off along the coast and climbed up a trail. We got some beautiful views and saw lots of rabbits. We started heading downwards and found ourselves in a big field and right near the only place to stay and also eat on the island. At this point a bit of disaster struck. Dave lost his footing and landed on his ankle badly. ...

    ... never seen a temple but it looked much more beautiful than I thought. Finally, we journeyed down the steep steps and went to the middle of the town where there was a river and more shops. Once again, very pretty! I think Kurashiki was my favorite place so far. I wish I could express how cool it was! I took many pictures, so I think I'll just let them speak for themselves! At this point, one of the young men sitting next to us says "Where are you from?" I immediately respond "Texas, how about you guys?" We of course stop by the concierge in the lobby to get some details as to how to get to our next destination - Onomichi.
