On the way down we passed where we tied the dog up and he was gone. Hope he wasn't dognapped! We were exhausted and hungry so imagine our joy when we passed one of the cheap sushi train places. At this point, one of the young men sitting next to us says "Where are you from?" I immediately respond "Texas, how about you guys?" They proceed to explain that they are from central Japan and are in town for some kind of engineering project (I think). ...

Day 12 - travel to Onomichi - Hiroshima area

A travel blog entry by globalshepherds on Apr 29, 2015

As we got to sleep pretty late the night before and we had to wake up sort of early to get our free breakfast - 9AM - it didn't surprise me that we were both feeling pretty tired after breakfast. On this day we would travel to the outskirts of Hiroshima and perhaps take a bike ride between some of the islands on the Japanese Inland Sea.
