      We had lunch near Bran Castle, and I was able to take some pictures. I was lucky enough to be able to shop for some great souvenirs in the area, including grabbing a pair of wool slippers for 20 lei ($5.)       Where to start when writing about Brasov??? This was my favourite place on my trip to Europe back in 2012 and that still hasn't changed after this second visit. We had the most wonderful time in Brasov made even more fantastic by our guide Florin. Florin picked us up from our hotel in Bucharest and we headed toward Brasov, about 2.5 hours from Bucharest.
