So we arrive at our hotel very early in the morning about 8am. And obviously our room isnt ready because its soooo early.. ... I had to use the restroom so I found a security guard and used another phrase I had been waiting for: "Hong-naam-you-tee-nie ka?" (Where is the toilet?) He pointed down the street. I thanked him, he acknowledged me with a "Kahp". I paid 3B ($0.09) to use the squat toilet and then we found a 7-11 for a cold drink.
*Side note* 7-11's are EVERYWHERE in Thailand. More prolific even than Starbucks in America, if you can believe it. I would guestimate ...
