... meal and bottle of wine, which they invited us to partake in. There was a bit of a lost-in-translation situation where they thought we had to get to bed early for our 5 pm departure (a bit excessive even for us old folks) and proceeded to ply us with drinks and stories from Brazil, when in reality we had to leave at 5 am and therefore, despite our enjoyment, ended up getting <4 hours sleep. Now who is old cranky and tired ?!?! Us.... But mostly ...
