... we just missed the cable car, and had to sit for a while for the next one. When it did arrive we laughed to find that we were still getting on the cable car with the same people we'd been lined up with in Murren....
Once in Stechelberg (in the bottom of the valley) we realised that it was 6.20 and the next bus back to Lauterbrunnen wouldn't leave for another 45 minutes - not laughing any more... But the walk back to camp was supposed to only be about 50 minutes anyway, so ...
... Beautiful mountains, massive waterfalls in every direction and amazing green valleys. We changed from the gondola, to one more small train and arrived in little Murren and the Hotel Alpina. Paige, Carl and Kyle were already checked in and having lunch next to another gondola a couple of blocks from the hotel. We sat on the patio and got caught up on their travels (Amsterdam and Berlin), then went back to the hotel for a small rest.
