... out of him at one stage.... even though he reckoned he didn't know the lyrics :) It was a fun tour - Wends and Lisa - you would have loved it ! and I'm sure you would have done yourselves proud during the sing-a-long bits - we were thinking about you :) Hope some of you die hard Julie Andrews fans recognise a few of the locations in the photos.... enjoy.... ... thought it was open to 10pm but it was actually 7pm close .... and we arrived there at 6.30 :) It was Hohensaltzburg Fortress, which dominates the skyline above Saltzburg. We climbed to it via the cable Railway, which is the oldest funicular in Austria, built in 1892. ... soooo worth it! I wish I would have planned better though because I was wearing Toms and a sweater. When they said it would be cold they meant it. The shivering and shaking was worth it though because the caves were so amazing! Not only was there a breath taking view on the hike up to the actual ice caves but the inside was HUGE and there was ice everywhere. I've never seen anything like it. I wish I could ...
