... I got one on video which I have posted with this. It looked really painful but they all just got up and walked off.
It was also funny because every time an Austrian or German would come to jump they had their own little intro music and everyone would cheer. I think they have a lot of competition, maybe like New Zealand .v. Australia. In the end it was a Japanese guy who was in the lead though. We also got to see some awesome ...
... off little blasts here and there. When midnight finally rolled around boy did the skies light up with fireworks all over the place! It was just brilliant. The snow had finally stopped falling, it was -2 degrees and mum and I danced in the snow welcoming in the new year. ... its not snowing and you can just enjoy the sun.
We decided to go to Mondsee next which is another lake town. It was very pretty as it was surrounded by mountains on all sides. While I sitting out in the common area/ foyer a guy approached me asking if I could help him down load some photos of his computer, as the hostel did not have a computer for him to use. We got talking, he was a young polish guy who was just come to Salzburg for the weekend. We had a chat while his photos up loaded and then he headed off.

... of nights ago. It was about 9pm and Saturday night but when we went there it was closed. We walked all over new town and nothing else for dessert was open. Unbelievable. No corner shops or 7/11's and supermarkets close at 1800 and like Germany are closed on Sunday. Very frustrating! Oh one exception the train station has one open on Sunday which shuts at 20:00 hrs. Salzburg is very quiet for a tourist city - bit dead actully or very low pulse.
