The Archbishop was not pleased with the noise the machinery made as the figures went about their tasks so he had a water organ constructed to play Mozart at the same time to drown out the noise. The city of Salzburg is in a class of its own. At the foot of the alps, with a beautiful river running through it, there is such sophistication and beauty. We enjoyed our new hotel after a little panic that our reserved hotel had been given away twenty minutes earlier because I didn't understand that we were to be there by 6:00. It all worked out super.
